I have a Keystone Cougar 29RKS 5th wheel withdual 4000 lb. axles. Can you tell me which Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit would I need for this?

Hi Stephen,
I’d be happy to help you get the right Roadmaster Comfort Ride kit for your Cougar. Since you have 4,000 lb axles, we’ll want to confirm the diameter of your axle tubes before choosing the kit. The axle capacity alone doesn’t guarantee the tube diameter.
If your axle tubes are 3 inches in diameter, I recommend the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit with Shocks, part # RM-2460-2560. If your axle tubes measure 2-3/8 inches in diameter, you’ll want the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit with Shock Absorbers, part # RM82MR, instead.
The Comfort Ride is a great upgrade for helping control the bouncing and porpoising you can get on rough roads, so I think you’re looking in the right direction. I just don’t want to have you order a kit until we know that axle diameter for sure.
Can you measure the outside diameter of one of your axle tubes?
