Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out. No. The Napier Sportz Cove # NA99FR is not a good fit for a 2009 Toyota RAV4 because that generation has the side-swinging rear door. Napier specifies that the Sportz Cove attaches over an open liftgate/hatch, and their fit information excludes rear-door configurations that do not provide that standard overhead hatch arrangement.
The RAV4 didn't switch to a conventional top-hinged liftgate until the 2013 model year, and Napier specifically lists 2013+ RAV4s for the Sportz Cove.
I'm sorry to say we don't offer any tents for the 3rd gen RAV4 with the side swing door at this time.
