Do You Have Replacement Awning Roller Tubes with More Than One Utility Slot?

Hi Wes,

Based off your measurements it sounds like you have a 15' Solera awning, the tube is 14' 6" which is very close to your measurements. I checked the replacement roller tubes we have for this length, but they are the same as what your factory tube would be with three channels for the awning fabric and one utility channel. So, the replacement tube wouldn't give you more utility slots. Roller tubes with multiple utility slots do exist, but we only carry the standard ones with one utility slot.

However, you can use an unused fabric channel as a utility slot but unlike the dedicated utility slot that's designed to stay exposed on the outer edge, the fabric channels sit at different points around the tube so the accessory would need to be removed before rolling the awning back in. Otherwise, the extra bulk will bunch up and jam the awning mechanism.

I purchased a 15’ awning roller tube recently (14’4”) for my Forest River, Grey Wolf camper. It had 3 utility slots. I was able to use one slot for the awning and another for a sunscreen.

@Ron I double checked with Lippert and the three slots are fabric channels and it has one primary utility slot. But you can use an unused fabric channel as a utility slot.
