Can I Reuse Triple Vision Camera Wiring With A Rear View Safety System?
Updated 08/04/2026 | Published 07/30/2026 >
Question:
I have a 09 Tiffin motorhome. It has the Triple Vision monitor. If I was to buy the newer complete kit do I have to re wire everything or will the existing wire work with the new system?

Hey Chad, thanks for reaching out. If you're replacing your Triple Vision system with the Rear View Safety # RVS-062710, you should plan on running the new cables that come with the kit. The cameras, monitor, and wiring all use Rear View Safety's own connectors and pinout, so they are not compatible with the older Triple Vision system.
The one exception is if your existing wiring happens to use the exact same connector style and pinout, but I have never seen that with a Triple Vision system, so plan on a complete rewire. The new system includes everything needed, and installing the new cables ensures you get the best picture quality and reliability.
What matters to you more - easier backing the Tiffin or better side view in traffic?
