Question:
Looking for a hitch to fit a 2023 Mazda 3 hatchback, prefer a 2in but I guess anything will work just for a bike. Thanks in advance!

Hi Jason, I am happy to help! Sadly, for the 2023 Mazda 3 Hatchback, there isn't a 2 inch receiver hitch available. The only confirmed fit is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part # C98BR, which is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver.
I know that's probably not the answer you were hoping for, but Curt is a great, well trusted brand, and this hitch works really well for carrying a bike rack. Just keep in mind that Class I hitches are limited to carrying no more than two bikes. The only 2 inch hitch available for the Mazda 3 fits the sedan, not the hatchback.
What kind of bikes are you planning to carry? I'd be happy to help you find a bike rack that'll work great with the Curt hitch. I would just need to know the style (e-bike vs mountain bike vs cruiser etc), the weight, what the top frame tube looks like (is it slanted or straight across?) and if the frame is a special frame like carbon fiber.

Someone does make a 2" receiver but I don't remember who. I've been using a 1.25 hitch for over a year with no issues though.
