Can Onan 11,000-Watt Tri Fuel Portable Generator Power 50A 5th Wheel With Two AC Units

Question:
I have a 2025 Grand Design Solitude with 50 amp service and two 15k AC units. We're planning on doing more camping without hookups and I'm looking at the Onan P11000iTF. Will this have enough power to run both air conditioners and the rest of the camper?

Hey Tyler! Yes, the Onan 11,000-Watt Tri Fuel Portable Generator # CM98MR can power a larger 50A 5th wheel like your Solitude. It produces 9,000 running watts on gasoline, which gives you enough capacity to run two AC units along with other normal loads.
You will still need to manage your power usage since things like the microwave, water heater, and other high-draw appliances can add up quickly when both AC units are running. I'd especially avoid trying to start several large loads at the same time.
Are you planning on using the generator mainly for boondocking or as backup power when you're traveling?

I have a 50 amp 5th wheel as well. Can I plug my regular 50A shore power cord directly into the generator or do I need an adapter?

Thanks Robin! We mostly boondock so this sounds like it should work well for us. Does it lose much power if we run it on propane instead of gasoline?
