Will Gen-Y Cushioned Ball Mount # 325-GH-12001 Work with 325 lb Tongue Weight

Question:
Gen-Y Hitch Trailer Hitch Ball Mount - 325-GH-12001. I have 325 tongue weight loaded on boat and trailer, will this hitch setup work for me to reduce feel of the tow.

Hey Chris, the optimal tongue weight range for the Gen-Y ball mount part # 325-GH-12001 that you referenced is 400-700 lb. Yours being at 325 lb means that you'd get most of the benefit of the cushioning of the ball mount but maybe not all of it since you are a little light for it. Gen-Y doesn't have a slightly lower version of this ball mount so this would still be your best option and you will notice an improvement using it so I recommend it for you. What size ball do you need?
