The kit comes with a 2" tow ball, the wiring to add a 4-way connection if your rack has lights attached to it, and a 2" receiver tube that will work with most Thule bike racks, like Thule Epos Bike Rack w/ Tail Lights - 3 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel or Frame Mount # TH34FR44SR. If your bike rack has a 1-1/4" shank like Thule Helium Pro Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # TH9043PRO, you can use Curt Reducer Sleeve - 2" Hitch to 1-1/4" Shank - 4" Long # C49WQ to adapt your hitch to work with the bike rack. You will want to check your owner's manual to ensure that you'll be able to carry the weight of three bikes of the tongue once the hitch is installed. The hitch is rated for up to 350 lbs of tongue weight, but the vehicle may be rated for less so you will have to go with whichever number is smaller.
