Yes, it does. The Girard tankless water heater part # GI65VR works best with a water pressure between 45 and 60 PSI. It also needs a steady water flow of at least 0.8 gallons per minute to ignite and keep heating properly. If the water pressure is too low, or if something like a restrictive water filter reduces the flow, the burner may not stay lit or the unit may not operate as expected.

For the best performance, I recommend setting your water pressure regulator to around 50 to 55 PSI. That typically provides the right balance of pressure and flow for reliable operation.

Are you planning to use it mostly on campground water hookups or from your RV's fresh water tank and pump?
