Hi Matt,
The recommended cabinet opening for the Invision refrigerator, part # NV34FR, is a minimum of 25.7 inches wide, 24.6 inches deep, and 60.9 inches tall. Those dimensions give the refrigerator enough room to slide into place while allowing the proper clearances for installation.
The refrigerator itself measures 23.7 inches wide, 26.4 inches deep, and 59.8 inches tall. Don't worry if the refrigerator sticks out a little farther than the cabinet. That's by design. The doors and front trim are meant to extend past the face of the cabinet.
For ventilation, Invision recommends leaving at least 1 inch of clearance above the refrigerator, on both sides, and behind it. Since this is a 12 volt compressor refrigerator, it doesn't require the large exterior roof and sidewall vents that older absorption refrigerators use, but the extra space around the unit helps the compressor dissipate heat and operate efficiently.
Are you replacing an existing refrigerator? I'd be happy to help compare your current cabinet opening to these dimensions to make sure the NV34FR will fit.
