Question:

I ordered a rv ac unit advent air adv75sr and I’m having trouble finding filters for it. Do these take a standard size because the filters that pop up are either cut your own or are smaller than what I have measured. Also is there a more premium filter. I have a huge hairy dog

Advent air units like Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - ADB Controls - Non-Ducted - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # ADV75SR don't use a traditional air filter like the kind you'd find in a home system, so there isn't a more premium option. The filter included is more of a foam to prevent contaminants from being sucked into the air intake and redistributed into the air. For a replacement or additional filter, you can use the filter from Advent's Replacement Grille and Filter for Advent Air RV Air Distribution Box # ADV54FR in tandem with your current one and they can be cleaned and rotated regularly to account for the hairy dog.

What kind of dog do you have? Is this your full-time RV or is it more of a vacation home?

It’s a full time rv. He is a Norwegian elkhound so super hairy.thank you for your help
