Does Fogatti InstaCool Ultra RV AC Have Inverter Compressor that is Variable Speed

For the Fogatti InstaCool Ultra RV AC. I understand this is an inverter unit, but is it a variable compressor? Does it ramp up slowly like a Furrion Chill Cube, and does it throttle the compressor rather than simply turning it on/off?

Hey Michael, this is a great question and one we had some confusion on at one point but the Fogatti InstaCool Ultra RV AC System # FG94VR that you referenced is not an inverter style AC unit with a variable speed compressor. It does use a higher displacement compressor at 9.2 cc which means it doesn't have to run as hard or draw as much power as a standard AC unit but for an actual variable speed compressor unit you'd need something like the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR39TD. What AC unit do you have currently?
