Question:

I have a 2015 Forest River Wildcat 295RSX. It has two Dexter 5200 axles. Do I need to order these Sumo springs or the 5000-8000 version?

Hey Ray. Since your Forest River Wildcat has two 5,200 lbs axles, I recommend the 5K to 8K SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV if your axles are under your leaf springs or item # SS33HR if your axles are above your leaf springs. These kits are sold per axle so you'll need two.

The 5K to 8K SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV or item # SS33HR each have a 900 lbs capacity. You'll get better support and cushioning using the higher rated sets.

Please note, to install the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV you'll need 7-7/16" - 8-5/8" between the top of the spring plate and bottom of the trailer's frame. The SumoSprings item # SS33HR requires 5-5/16" - 6-1/2" of clearance.

Are your axles mounted above or below the leaf springs on your Wildcat?
