Question:
Just bought the Rhino Rack Sports 54inch for my Subaru Forester with Roof rails. Why doesnt the system lock?

Hey William, the Rhino-Rack Sportz Roof Rack for Raised Rails # RR24CG doesn't have a lock system built into it but to remove it would require right tools on hand to loosen it so that it could be removed so it would be difficult to steal. It also has the bolt that secures the rack hidden behind the endcap/foot cover so it would take someone with familiarity to rack and have the right tools on hand to be able to steal it.

It’s not a very good design. You can fit an Allen key in the under channel and remove. Or you can have a very long Allen head and remove.
