Hi. Im looking for something called a snow flap transition hinge also called a trailer door threshold hinge or ramp door snow flap hinge. It allows the trailer door flap hinge to sit flush so its easy to load a snow mobile or a wheeled tool cart. Thank you.

Hey Seth, welcome back. I recommend the 48" long Caliber EdgeGlide 2.0 Transition Plate item # CA42TJ. These are designed to mount to the top of your snow mobile trailer's ramp door and fold out when you're ready to load or unload your trailer. They'll simply fold down out of the way and store against your ramp door when it's closed.
The EdgeGlide 2.0 item # CA42TJ includes two 24" long transition plates that bolt directly to your ramp door with the included hardware. They're made of high-impact HDPE and have a grip pattern built into them for additional traction.
What kind of snow mobile do you have and how wide is your ramp door?

Hi Seth, I can't speak to use for a snowmobile but I have the 2.0 edgeglide to load my UTV into my toyhauler. It is about 1200 lbs, or about 300/tire. I also use it for my Harley which is about 1000 lbs or 500/tire. It works flawlessly for both. When i open the ramp door it automatically opensto cover the hinge gap to make it easy to load and unload. It is durable, I have had it several years and it is still working like new.
