Question:

Looking for extension mirrors for both sides of my 2005 Ford F250 super duty. I couldnt tell from the description whether any of yours would fit.

Hi Bob,

The CIPA Customer Towing Mirrors part # CIP29VV are not a fit for your 2005 Ford F-250, these mirrors are intended to fit 2020 and newer Ford F-150s. If you want to keep with the slip-on style of towing mirror, the mirrors that'll fit your truck is the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors part # LVT-2600. These mirrors are custom-fit to slide over your F-250's factory mirrors to help improve sightlines while towing. They don't require any hardware to install so they'd be an easy addition to your truck.

If you're interested in towing mirrors that you can extend and retract so you can adjust them for a better line of sight while towing, then I'd suggest using the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors part # KS61211-12F. These mirrors are total factory side-view mirror replacements that have a telescoping function allowing them to be extended or retracted to adjust your line of sight and plug into existing mirror wiring to install. They also have heated glass to clear ice or fog, built-in spotter mirrors, and an amber light on the side of each mirror that turns on when the turn signal is activated. If your truck's mirrors don't currently have these functions, then these functions won't work for the custom mirrors either because the truck isn't wired to have it.
