Availability of Norcold N8DCBLKR RV Refrigerator and Comparable Replacement

Hi Tom,

Thanks for reaching out! We do not currently carry the Norcold N8DCBLKR refrigerator, and I wasn't able to find that exact model number from Norcold either. It may be a variation of the N8DCBKR, which is the black, right hinge, 8 cubic foot 12 volt refrigerator. While we don't have the black version available, we do carry the Norcold Polar Full RV Refrigerator with Freezer, part # NC73FR, which is the stainless steel version with the same general size and installation requirements.

The NC73FR measures 23 1/4 inches wide, 52 7/8 inches tall, and 26 7/8 inches deep, and it fits a cutout that measures 23 1/2 inches wide, 52 7/8 inches tall, and 24 inches deep, which matches the published cutout dimensions for the black version. It also uses standard RV mounting points, has separate digital temperature controls for the refrigerator and freezer, adjustable shelves and door bins, a travel lock to keep the doors secure while you're on the road, and a battery saver feature to help prevent draining your RV battery.

If your goal is to replace your current refrigerator without modifying the cabinet or wiring, I'd be happy to help verify that before you order. If you can tell me what RV you're installing it in, or even better, the model number of your existing refrigerator, I can confirm whether the NC73FR will be a direct fit.
