Will the Thule Force 3 Rooftop Cargo Box Fit the OEM Roof Rack on a 2015 Acura MDX

Hey Tous, welcome back. To see if the Thule Force 3 Rooftop Cargo Box item # TH87SA is going to allow you to open your rear hatch without interference you'll need to take a quick measurement from the front of your OEM crossbar. Specific fitment information like this is not available to us.

You'll need at least 53" measured from the front crossbar to the point on your Acura where the rear hatch seem meets the body for the Thule Force 3 item # TH87SA to not block your rear hatch from opening.

I recommend mounting the front crossbar as far forward as possible. So long as that shark fin antenna doesn't stick out above the crossbars you won't come into contact with it. It's really hard to tell from the pictures online where exactly the top of the shark fin is in relation to the factory crossbars and Acura doesn't list that information either.

The Thule Force 3 Rooftop Cargo Box item # TH87SA is compatible with your 2015 Acura MDX's OEM roof rack. It'll easily attach to the crossbars. You will want to have them spread out between 23-5/8" - 35-7/8".

How high up is the top of the shark fin in relation to the bottom or top of the crossbars?
