Looking for Replacement Trailer Leaf Spring for 2002 620vs Ranger Boat Trailer

Question:
I purchased 4 spring 4 years ago. Part number 072-042-00 for my 2002 620vs Ranger boat trailer. I only have approximately 1.5 inches of clearance between axle and frame so it does bottom out. Do they make a higher arch spring to gain more clearance.

Hey Bill, I looked up that part number at it appears to be a 25-1/4 inch leaf spring rated for a 3500 lb trailer axle. Everything is going to have basically the same amount of vertical arch but is there a chance your springs are just worn out and starting to flatten out? If so, just a standard replacement like the part # DX23CR would work as a replacement and would get you back what you are missing.
