I have a 2003 jayco jayflight 27 BH looking for the awning brackets that hold the legs on the trailer and if wanted can detach the legs so they can be ground secured.

Thanks for reaching out, David.

We may have something that will work for you. The Thule Vehicle Mounting Bracket Kit # TH1500602390 is designed specifically for the Thule HideAway awning, but there’s a chance it could work with your awning as well.

I actually went out and measured the opening on the bracket. The space where the awning arm attaches is a little over 1" tall and about 1-5/16" wide. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a way to remove the bracket from the packaging without damaging it, so those measurements were taken through the package. I included some pictures below so you can get a better look at how the mounting foot attaches.

One thing to know about Thule instructions, they're a lot like IKEA instructions. There aren’t many words, so the pictures tend to tell the whole story.

If you'd like, you can also send me a picture of the base of your awning arm along with a few measurements. I can compare them to the bracket and help determine whether this kit will work for your setup.
