I pulled up the dimensions of the oil filter on your 2006 Ford F150 with a 5.4 liter and you would be better off getting the Derale Plate-Fin Engine Oil Cooler kit part # D15405. The O-ring diameter of your filter will better match the adapter of this kit, this kit also has the thread adapter you need 22mm x 1.5mm and the cooler style of this kit is more efficient as it is a plate-fin style, whereas the # D15502 is a tube-fin style that has an o-ring adapter that would be too small.
