We are interested in the 72 Thomas Payne jack knife sofa in the McCoy color Part Number: TP37AR. Does it include the metal frame and the kick board? How does the kick board attach and detach?

Hi Geri,
The Thomas Payne Jack Knife Sofa 72" wide part # TP37AR comes with the kickboard but does not come with the metal legs for the sofa. We do sell the legs separately, they're the Universal Leg Kit for Thomas Payne Jackknife Sofas part # 195-000017, it will come with the necessary hardware to install them.
As I mentioned, the kickboard does come with the sofa, you install it by turning the sofa upright, lift the sofa up away from the metal frame bar, hook the kick panel over the front frame bar (adjust it so it's centered) and then lower the sofa back down. I've linked the instructions detailing how to install the sofa for you as well.
Are you planning on storing things under the sofa as well as using it as a bed?
