Question:

I have several Thule rectangular cross bars non-slot version and would like to purchase a gutter mount for my 26 Wrangler. All the current mounts seem to only work with the slotted bars.

I did quite a bit of digging to see if there was a better solution for you. Unfortunately, there isn't an adapter available that would allow the current Rapid Gutter Towers # TH65BJ to work with the older, non-slotted Thule square bars. The mounting systems are simply different.

Because of that, you would need to replace the entire setup with something like the Thule SquareBar Evo Roof Rack for Rain Gutters # TH55ZA.

I know that's definitely not the ideal answer, especially since you already have a set of bars. I was hoping to find a way to reuse them, but Thule's older and newer systems just don't cross over in this case.

What were you looking at carrying on the roof of your Jeep?
