Recommended PullRite ISR Series SuperLite 5th Wheel Hitch

Updated 06/01/2026 | Published 05/26/2026

Question:

Hello , I have a 2024 ram 3500 with a curt puckbadapter rail system . My husky hitch weighs a ton and would like to switch to something more manageable. Im thinking the pull right ISR 20000 capacity super light series. Do you think this would be a good choice for a fifth wheel weighing 13000 pds?

I sure do Paul! The PullRite ISR Series SuperLite 5th Wheel Hitch item # PUL53RR weighs only 52 lbs and has a 20,000 lbs capacity. It'll save you at least 100 lbs depending on which model Husky hitch you have. The included adapter will bolt directly to your trailer's king pin and make connecting quite a bit easier with the funnel design of the base.

It sounds like you're using the Adapter Rails item # C29BR that attach to the Ram puck system, so you'll be able to attach the PullRite item # PUL53RR directly to them. It'll attach to industry standard 5th wheel rails as well.

What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have?
