Question:
Hi, I have a 2006 Honda Pilot EX-L, 4WD, and it has rear coil springs with struts in the springs. Your website recommends a few Suspension Enhancement options, which inlclude air bag systems. Since I have struts in the springs, I dont see how I could install the air bags without removing the struts. Are the air bags intended as strut replacements? Thank you.

Rear coil springs with a strut such as those on your 2006 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD cannot be fitted with air springs without removing the struts since these too install inside the coils. There is a product from Super Springs, their microcellular polyurethane foam helper spring kit # CSS-1125R, that will work along with the struts/coil springs on some Honda Pilots.
These springs simply insert within the turns of the coil springs and are held in place with zip ties. These are a zero-maintenance option, unlike air bags that require you to maintain some inflation pressure at all times.
In order to confirm that these will work on your particular vehicle you will need to take measurements of your coil springs both with weight on the wheels and without, complete a form with this information and send it to Super Springs for them to evaluate the fit. This form will be sent to you.
