Looking For Replacement Single Pull-Out Step For 2017 Winnebago Minnie 1706FB

Updated 05/04/2026 | Published 04/30/2026

Question:

I have a Micro Minnie RV trailer 1706FB with a single step that is badly corroded. I looked at the lippert LC432678 and it looks right but the width of the mounting bracket is 25 3/4 inches and the space between the trailer bracket it bolts on to is 26 and 1/8 inches to fit the old steps. Can you source something that will fit better? Thanks! Jim

Hey James, thanks for reaching out. You’re right on the measurements, and the Lippert # LC432678 is going to be the closest match in that single-step pull-out style. With your mounting space at 26-1/8" and the step bracket at 25-3/4", you’ve only got about 3/8" total gap to deal with, so it’s actually a pretty minor difference. In most cases, that can be taken up with flat washers or a small spacer plate on each side and still bolt up solid without any issue.

The main thing to watch is making sure the step sits centered and pulls straight in and out once it’s installed. As long as you take up that gap evenly on both sides, it won’t feel loose or wobbly. I’d also take a quick look at the existing mounting surface on the trailer while you’re in there, since corrosion on the old step can sometimes carry over to the frame brackets. If everything is still solid, that Lippert step will give you a clean, secure fit without having to drill new holes or force anything into place.
