Have 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland w/lower air shutters and tow hooks. Need baseplate and adapters to fit roadmaster Sterling tow bar thanks

Hey Bill, welcome back! Since your 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland has tow hooks you need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM77ZR. This is directly compatible with your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar. However, you will have to either trim or remove the lower air shutters to install the base plate kit.

You also want to reach out to your local MOPAR dealer to see if you need the MOPAR wire harness 82216418AA to safely flat tow your vehicle.

Do you already have your two bar wiring and brake system?

I removed the lower air shutters on my 2022 Overland. Easier and a cleaner looking setup.

Mine installed very nicely on my 23 Trailhawk 4xe. Only suggestions I have: Make sure you have an extra set of hands. I didn’t have to trim as much as the instructions indicated, and was able to keep almost all of the air deflectors in place. Works very well.
