Are Torflex Lift Kits Supposed To Be Bolted On Or Welded On?

with a 2 5/8 inch torflex lift kit for 2005 avan aliner do you need to weld it to the frame as well as bolt it? And does that 2 5/8 inch lit come in something around 3000lbs? cheers garry

Hey Garry, thanks for reaching out. The Torflex lift kits like part # K71-723-01 are designed to be bolted on. You do not need to weld them they just bolt on to the axle mounting bolt holes.
The # K71-723-01 kit you were looking at is for Torflex axles with 2,000 lb capacity and 7-3/4" between the bolt holes. Those are the two specs that determine what kit you can use.
What is the weight capacity of your axle? Do you know the distance between the bolt holes?
