Question:

We’ve got a toy hauler that sees a lot more gravel and rough land access than a normal camper; we've had to lift it with offroad tires lol. The AC is shot, and I’m not attached to replacing it with the same brand. I just want the one that makes the most sense for how this trailer actually gets used. What would you recommend in the Coleman ducted group?

Hey Melissa, for a toy hauler that regularly gets dragged down rough roads, I’d recommend the Coleman-Mach Roughneck Mach 15 # CM65RR. That’s the one in this ducted lineup that really fits the way you’re using the trailer.

It gives you the full ducted setup with the rooftop AC, air distribution box, and wall thermostat, but the big advantage is the reinforced construction for harsher roads and more vibration. If this were mostly normal highway and campground use, I’d point you more toward the Signature Mach 15 # CM52RR instead.
