Hey Melissa, in your case the Roughneck Mach 15 (15k btu) # CM65RR is exactly the one I’d be looking at. The big difference between that and the Signature Mach 15 (also 15k btu) # CM52RR is the tougher reinforced construction on the Roughneck unit. That model is built around harsher use where more vibration and rougher travel are part of the job.

It sounds to me like the Roughneck version makes a lot of sense for you since you travel gravel roads a lot. If you were just doing normal highway miles and campground weekends, I’d usually point you toward the Signature model instead though since it's a bit less costly.

You’re still getting the same basic advantage of a complete ducted system either way: rooftop unit, ducted air distribution box, and wall thermostat all matched together.
