Hey Patience, the Inno Kayak Roof Rack part # INA452 that you referenced is designed to fit OEM crossbars like what you have on your 2016 Subaru Outback. You do have OEM crossbars right? What kind of kayak do you have?

The Inno has a lot of adjustment depth so will not have an issue on the Outback crossbars. I have them on Thule bars which are bigger, thicker, but plenty of screw depth to make them tight on a smaller cross bar.

Hello Jameson, Yes, we do have oem crossbars on our Subaru, flat oval. We are planning to carry a Valley sea kayak, probably upside down. Make sense? Patience
