Question:
I have a 2016 Audi S4 and am looking at a stealth hitch for a bike rack, not the towing version. Trying to assess whether this is a DIY project for me or take to a shop. The info on your site says 2 hours for the install. Is this for a pro or for a DIY? Also, do you recommend a shop for this install or feel confident that this is a DIY project for someone good with tools but not a professional mechanic? One last question, do you know what the ground clearance would be to the hitch receiver on a stock S4 mount setup?

Hi Bill,
The Stealth Hitch Hidden Rack Receiver part # 391AUDA4A5S509 is the perfect fit for your 2016 Audi S4 and is designed to be used only for bike racks or cargo carriers, not for towing. The suggested two hour install time is geared more towards a professional. Stealth Hitches can be quite intensive to install and require a lot of tools and usually removing the bumper, so I recommend having a professional install this for you. I've included a link to our Dealer Locator so you can find a partnered shop in your area to get the job done for you. The clearance from the bumper to the ground is 4.7 inches, with the hitch installed this should remain relatively the same. When you have the bike carrier installed in the hitch, I would expect it to be less than that, but it will depend on the carrier.
Do you already have a bike rack picked out?
