Torflex Lift Kit for 2006 Starcraft Popup Trailer With 3,500 lb Axle

Question:
I was hoping to get some help confirming the Torflex Lift Kit Part Number: K71-707-01 will work for our 2006 Starcraft Popup Trailer with single Dexter Axle. I was able to find an etched axle number Dexter Axle 122447496. I know the axle has a 3500lb capacity but I dont have any other information about the axle. I also see the disclaimer about the kit not being compatible with a 3 high profile bracket. I am not sure if that applies to our set up or not. Some guidance would be appreciated!

Hey Brita! The Torflex Lift Kit - Single Axle - 2-5/8" Lift # K71-707-01 fits a #10 Torflex axle. I would expect your 3,500 lb axle to be a #10, but it isn't always absolute.
You can double check fitment by measuring the distance between the bolt holes on your trailer. The lift kit is 8" apart on center so as long as that matches it will fit. I can't tell you if you have a 3" high profile bracket or not either, you will have to look under the trailer and measure that as well to be sure.
If you have different measurements let me know in the comments below, a different kit may be available if it is a #9 or #11 Torflex instead. Where are you headed with the Starcraft once you get the lift installed?

Brit’s, I have a 17ft Casita with the same axel. I installed this lift kit with relative ease and it worked really well. I have electric brakes so some consideration had to be made about the length on the connecting wires.

The distance between the bolt holes on our trailer is 8” on center.
