Question:

I have a 2016 Forest River Sierra 378FB, its 42 feet, and tow vehicle is a 2022 F-250 XLT, is this the correct hitch I need? Thank you BB

Hey Brent, thanks for reaching out. The MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # MR47MV is for trailers with a GVWR over 18,000 lbs and according to the online specs your 2016 Forest River Sierra 378FB GVWR is closer to 16,000 lbs, so you'll want to go with the next size down.

Also, we will need to determine your current pin box size/bolt pattern and make sure the GooseTech matches that. The best way to find that is with the sticker on your current pin box. There should be a sticker on the side that shows the model number/RPO number/serial number. If you can send me those I can make sure you get exactly the right thing.

For example, the MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # MR97MV is for 14K to 18K GVWR campers and replaces the Lippert 1621 pin box.
