Question:
There is no reason why you could not install the # 9106-2756 on the side of the trailer..... Can the vent be mounted with pop rivets to the side of an aluminum skin trailer? Additionally, what does the vent weigh in pounds?

Expert Reply:
Rivets could definitely be used to install the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent part # 9106-2756. Using a silicone sealant like part # 0160297 is recommended to prevent water intrusion.
The vent weighs 5 lbs.
