Hey Brian! The distance between those "ears" on top of the B&W Custom Headache Rack # BWPUCP7540BA is 61" inside to inside. The 61-9/16" measurement is outside to outside, the overall top width. This is confirmed to fit 1997 Chevy C/K series pickups.
