Obtained a 2017 f250 with this rack system already installed but want to add a tonneau cover. Is it possible with this setup?

Hello David,

I really wish you could, but because of how the T-Rac Pro2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Super-Duty Pickups, Fixed Mount, 1,000 lbs # TH37003XT clamps to the inside of the bed rails (please see the attached image), there is not a way to install a tonneau cover with that rack installed.

There are other ladder racks that would be compatible with a tonneau cover, like the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack with Tonneau Cover Adapters, 78 inch Crossbars # Y01151-5955. With that style rack you could install a tonneau cover like the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover, Retractable Aluminum, Matte Black, Accessory T-Slots # RTT-80383. That cover would fit a 6 3/4 foot bed.

What are you planning to haul on the ladder rack? An actual ladder for work, or something a little more fun like kayaks or a canoe?
