Can Roof Rack Hold Tent on 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport With Flush Rails

Question:
Hello, I have 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T model with factory roof rail. I want to put a rooftop tent for easy, quick overlanding trips. Can you let me know if I can install one of roof rack systems you guys sell here without reinforcing the existing rails out there? I am pretty new to this space. So I wonder if I can still use the factory flush rails and install one of rack systems you have to put a rooftop tent on top of it. Thank you!

Hey Han! You're off to a good start since you already have the flush rails on your 2015 Santa Fe Sport. If you had a naked roof none of the roof racks would be able to handle a tent. Actual compatibility will depend on the tent requirements.
For example, The Thule Basin Wedge # TH92VY and Thule Approach L # TH83XE require your vehicle roof and roof rack to have a minimum load capacity of 165 lbs. The Rhino-Rack Vortex Roof Rack # RR47TE you were looking at meets this requirement so you would need to verify the capacity of the roof on your vehicle.
Do you already have your tent?
