Question:

I am looking for 4 17.5 trailer wheels for my 2007 teton 5th wheel. This a 2 axle trailer. The loaded weight is approximately 20,000 pounds. The tyres are 215/75/17.5 Thank you Kelly

Hi Kelly, welcome back! You can still use the Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel # LI44FR I mentioned before, it just isn't available in black. If you want black wheels I recommend the Aluminum Trinity Series Trailer Wheel # TA84XR.

Unlike Lionshead, Taskmaster styles tend to stick around so if you ever need a replacement it won't be so hard to find a matching wheel. These wheels have a slightly lower capacity, and with four of them they can handle 19,400 lbs. Even if you're maxed out at 20,000 lbs you will have a lot of pin weight that won't be on the axles so the wheels can handle it.

What trip are you gearing up for with your Teton?

Central Fl. to central Mt. Two of the four wheels cracked. The wheels are six years old. That said we want the strongest wheels we can get. Do you have steel wheels that would work for us with out being ugly

@KellyC the steel wheels have an offset which you don't want and none of them exceed the capacity of the Lynx # LI44FR at 6,050 lbs per wheel.

The big question of the day is what kind of deal do we get on 4

@KellyC I wish there was a deal like that but the price remains the same whether it is a single wheel or four.

@Kelly you can add the # LI44FR to your cart and pick up the # TA86QR for lug nuts.
