Question:

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, Oscar Mike package. I have a blue ox tow bar. I have attached two pictures for your review. What would I need to configure this vehicle to flat tow. I see that there are many options available without using a tow plate. This vehicle has steel plates protruding through the steel cover on the bottom.

Hey Wayne, thanks for the pictures. Those attachment points extending below the bumper of your Jeep can not be used for flat towing.

Since your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, Oscar Mike package has the American Expedition Vehicles Premier bumper, the only baseplate kit that fits it is the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit item # DM34FR. We actually installed this baseplate awhile back so I linked the installation video we made below.

To use your Blue Ox tow bar you'll need the Blue Ox Tow Bar Adapter Brackets for Demco Tabless Base Plates item # DM9523127. These will work unless you have a Avail tow bar.
