Question:
I have a 29’ aluminum frame cargo trailer with a Shelby 5107 bolt on 2” coupler. Would like to switch to a 2 5/16 bolt on coupler, without drilling additional holes. What are my options. 3” wide frame.

Hey Terry,
It looks like you have the Shelby 5107 straight tongue with the 3" tongue, is that correct? I'd be happy to figure out which coupler will fit, but I cannot find the bolt hole spacing of your coupler online, so you'll need to measure it to be sure.
The standard 3" tongue coupler # DM13203-52 has the 2-5/16" ball you're wanting, but mounting holes are 3" spaced, 2" spaced, and 1-7/8" spaced as shown below.
If that doesn't match what you have, let me know.
