Hey Robert! To flat tow your 2014 Terrain you will need a tow bar, base plate, safety cables, wiring, and a supplemental brake system. I recommend the following:

-Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1689

-Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar # BLU28QV (includes safety cables)

-Blue Ox Universal Tow Bar Cover # BLU53QV (optional)

-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267

-Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicles # RM-76517 (4-cylinder models)

-Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicles # RM76511 (V6 models)

-Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System # RVI94FR (includes charge line)

You may also need a high-low adapter like the # e52ZV to keep your setup level. The bracket height on the base plate is 13-1/2" and you want to be +/- 3" of level. If you measure from the ground to the center of your motorhome receiver you can subtract that from the bracket height to see if an adapter is required.

What trip are you planning first once you get your Terrain set up for towing?
