Will Blue Ox Acclaim Work with Blue Ox Base Plate Kit for 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee

We have a 2003 Jeep grand Cherokee limited. Weight is 4200lbs. I have a blue ox base plate on the way. Will this tow bar work for this vehicle. Thanks Mark

Hey Mark, yes the Blue Ox Acclaim tow bar part # BX4330 that you referenced would be a great option for your 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the Blue Ox base plate kit # BX1115. Do you have the rest of your flat tow setup picked out already?

I purchased this tow bar and have been very pleased so far. Very easy to use with Blue Ox base bar. Only thing to consider that I can think of is the towed vehicle protector made by Blue Ox will not work with this tow bar. I just made a mud flap for our motorhome instead.

Yeah, I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon I use the blue box to Bar. It’s great no problems at all very easy to hook up and it’s very light I like it.
