Class S Tire Chains For A 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 With 265/75R16 Tires

Question:
I have a 2018 Mercedes 2500 sprinter with 265/75/r16 tires. I need a low profile S.A.E. Class S chains. My tires are not standard so your search engine doesn’t identify what I need. What chains do you have that will fit? I’m in North Carolina so I only need them occasionally.

Hi Bob!
With your 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 having low/limited wheel well clearance and those 265/75R16 tires, I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair # TC2326. I would stay away from cable options as, though they are less expensive, I think the weight of your vehicle would basically make them disintegrate the first time they are installed.
The # TC2326 chains are Class S rated, which is for low/limited wheel well clearance, and the diamond pattern means you always have chain on the ground for good traction when you need it. They even have an adjuster built in, so you do not need any extra parts, which is nice. They are also on the easier side to install, so they are the ones to get. I would still try them out in a controlled environment before you need to install them on the side of the road or something though. Having a little experience with them makes the whole procedure a lot less stressful.
