Can Wiring Harness for 2025 Toyota RAV4 Pull Power From Subwoofer

Question:
I am looking for a wire harness for a 2025 Rav4 Limited Gas that has the factory JBL audio system. Do you know if it is possible to get power for the trailer harness from the subwoofer that is in the rear quarter panel instead of running wiring to the battery in the front of the car.

Hey Derek! For a wiring harness I recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434. This plugs into the connection points behind your tail lights. However, the power line does need to run to the battery.
The same is true for any wiring harness you install on your RAV4. Connecting to an alternate source like the power wire for the subwoofer will likely overload the circuit. This will leave you with problems you don't want, and you'll still be running the wire to the battery in the end.
Do you already have a hitch or is this for something other than towing?
