Heavy Duty High Output Jump Starter Pack For 12V AND 24V Batteries In Diesel Pusher Class A RV

Question:
Hey, I’ve got a diesel pusher RV and dual 12v batteries that aren’t easy to reach. Cable length matters to me. What is a good jump starter to look at? cold weather kills these batteries so I normally leave it running while getting lunch or dinner.

Hey Ron - that’s a really important detail, and yes, the cold is a complete menace to most batteries!
The Projecta Intelli-Start 3,000A jump starter # VX55NR uses 59-inch jumper leads, which are significantly longer than the other Projecta models. That extra reach makes a big difference on RVs and coaches where batteries are tucked away or spread out.
Between the cable length, 12V AND 24V support, and higher starting capacity, it’s a much better fit than smaller units for RV setups like yours. The price is a bit higher, but I like to "buy once cry once" and have the peace of mind.
Where are your batteries located on the coach?

They’re in a rear compartment and pretty tight to get to, which is why cable length has been such a headache. One more thing, if the batteries are really run down from the cold, will this actually help bring them back, or is it just for quick jumps?
