Updated 01/30/2026 | Published 01/27/2026

Question:

I bought a used trailer, they replaced the axles and suspension on it, they have put the equalizer for the slip springs i stead of the double eye that the trailer has, was wondering if I can get double eye equalizer with a 7/8 center hole and 9/16 bottom holes

Hey Kenneth. All of our equalizer's like the E-Z Flex Equalizers item # K71-655-00 are have 9/16" diameter holes. There are none that have a 7/8" center hole so you'll need to get a smaller bolt.

The E-Z Flex Equalizers item # K71-655-00 are 7-3/4" wide and 3" tall. You'll want to replace your current equalizer with one close to the same size.

How wide is your current equalizer from the left to the right mounting bolts and how tall is it from the top mounting hole to the center line of the side bolts?

I installed a set of these EZ flex equalizers on my 40’ keystone sprinter 5th wheel. They are built so much better than the original equipment which failed in 1 year! These are much more durable. These grease zerks are a must. I replaced all bushings at the same time. No more rattles and worries, dealership calls that noise normal wear, i call it junk. I always check my spring gear when i have the trailer on its leveling gear by kicking the tires, you’ll hear a rattle if your bushings or equalizers are getting to much wear
