Recommended Tractor Tire Chains for 23"x10.5"x 12" Tires

Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 01/24/2026

Question:

I have standard tire chains on my John Deere Tractor that I plow our driveway with. We had new concrete installed in this past august and the installer would like me to switch to a different type of chains for the tractor. Can you sell me your lighter chains that have the rollers for size 23 X 10.5 X 12? I obviously do not go over 30MPH with this tractor. Thanks

Hey Bruce. The most light duty set of tire chains we have that fit a 23"x10.5"x 12" tractor tire are the Titan Chain Tractor Tire Chains item # TC0858. These are 10-mm thick, ladder-pattern chains designed for traction in deep snow and mud.

I recommend using the Rudder Tire Chain Adjusters item # TCMA2 as well so that the chains will fit snug to your treads.

Jerred answered my questions, I will NOT be purchasing the item I asked about since it is a lot more than I expected
