Can I Use the Adarac Pro Series with the Uprights from the M-Series in the Same Track?

Updated 02/10/2026 | Published 01/17/2026

Question:

Can I combine the pro series with the m series on the same bed rail mounts. I have a ‘24 Chevy 3500 long bed and need the shorter height m series for 2 kayaks and the cab clearance height pro series for 2 more kayaks. 4 total.

Hello Garrett,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I just wanted to be sure everything would work exactly the way you need it to.

I reached out to Adarac, and they confirmed that you can install the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - Matte Black - 500 lbs # A78WG, and then also install the Adarac M-Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - Matte Black - 500 lbs # A39CG mounts inside the Pro Series tracks. This setup will give you two taller uprights and two shorter ones, which is perfect for transporting your kayaks.

What kind of tie downs are you currently using for your kayaks? Do you have a specific body of water you like to go out on?

Hey Garrett, how did the mix of the Pro Series and M-Series racks work out on your Chevy’s bed rails? It sounds like a great setup for hauling all four kayaks. Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar combo.

@KateF It works perfectly. My only complaints the two piece bedroom track. A solid 8’ rail would be nice so I would have the option to slide uprights all the way forward when not in use. Other than that, very satisfied

@GarrettR Thanks for the response Garrett. I will definitely mention to them about making it one piece, they may have it designed like that for easier shipping.
