Hey Joe, in general the Kelty Waypoint Car Awning # KE33TR would need to be taken down if it's raining. Not that it can handle the moisture but with rain usually comes higher winds which this does not do well in. If it's a lighter rain with no wind it would do just fine but definitely keep an eye on the wind. If the rain gets heavy the weight of the water on it will most likely cause it to collapse so keep that in mind as well.
